Welcome to Rugeley and Armitage Camera Club

Welcome

Thank you for taking an interest in our club. If you enjoy taking photographs then take a look at what we have to offer. Browse our programme page for details of what is on from week to week, along with details of our group session evenings. Should you wish to talk to someone and find out more, please see our Contacts page for a name and telephone number. Founded in 2009 our membership has been consistent but we continue to welcome new members. No matter what your favourite subject matter or equipment you use, be it SLRs, compact camera or mobile telephone, film or digital, if you enjoy taking or looking at pictures, or just seek to become more proficient, our club will have something to interest you. We have a full and varied programme of meetings throughout the year, including illustrated talks by leading photographers, and competitions, where we hear independent judges giving their advice on our efforts. Advice is also given on improving our pictures, on our computers, with lessons on Photoshop to those who have an interest in expanding their knowledge in photography and improving their prints.

You would be joining a welcoming and friendly group of members who are keen amateur photographers, who meet every Monday evening from September to June (except bank holidays) at 7.30 pm in the ‘Davy Suite’ at Lea Hall Miners Welfare Centre & Social Club, Sandy Lane, Rugeley, Staffs.
