Not at all, just a keen interest in photography. Our members have a wide range of kit from basic kit to professional kit and no matter what camera equipment you have, you can participate in the club.
No members only pay weekly subs for the meetings they attend
Yes we take cash and contactless payments, either by contactless card or your phone.
Yes we run a three teired system. Beginners,Intermediate and Advanced section. You can choose which level to start at depending on your ability.
No but you can learn a lot from critique given by the judge, we also implement a points system for all monthly photographic competitions, each image entered receives a bonus point and the judge marks out of 20 with the highest scoring Image forming the basis of the league tables, the monthly competition marks are added together to decide the winner of each group for the year, for more information see our Camera Club Monthly competition rules leaflet.
A few of our members use an outside laboratory to print them, there are several available, DSCL Colour Labs being very popular and reasonably priced, take a look at their website, help & advice on how to order from them is available at our club meetings.
Help is available at a practical night with demonstrations or ask any committee member, they will help or advise you who to ask. You can also buy pre-cut mounts, just to stick the prints in or you can get an image printed and mounted.
Handouts, Action cards plus other information on most subjects are covered & always available at any club evening. Our practical evening organisers, Roy Harrison and Stephen Frost are always looking for any new subject to cover, so have a chat with them.

A computer yes, for digital photography, although you can do a lot of things on smart phones these days, you don’t have to have editing software, but it would certainly help you progress, speak to any member for advice.
