Camera Club Outing
The Nature group went on an outing to Prees Heath Nature Reserve on the 2nd July. This is the only remaining sanctuary in the Midlands for the silver studded blue butterfly.

Camera Club Outing to Elford Gardens
On Thursday 10th July, 13 members of the club descended onto Elford Hall Gardens for a photography morning. Their website states “How a country estate was gifted to a city and forgotten, then the walled garden won back for everyone to enjoy”.
Take a look at the website and if you get the chance go for a visit, you can sit on the many benches around the gardens and just enjoy the peace and quiet, or as we did photograph the beautiful flowers, wildlife and scarecrows. The weather was incredibly hot, but plenty of places to get in the shade. It was an ideal opportunity for those interested in macro to have plenty of practice, the lavender bushes in the sensory garden were covered in butterflies and bees. We could have a white butterfly competition next year!!!!
