You are invited to our club outing to Calke Abbey, which is a National Trust property in Ticknall, Derbyshire DE73 7JF.
It is advertised as the ‘Unstately’ Stately Home as everything inside has been more or less kept as the last owners left it. In addition to the house, there are wonderful parklands and gardens for you to photograph— and of course, a café and gift shop.
Cost to visit the Hall is £14, plus Parkland and Gardens £8, making a total of £22 ( though you can choose to visit just the house or just the parkland and gardens).
National Trust members have free entry.
Partners or a friend are welcome as it is a big venue. You will need to book yourself on the National Trust website— or pay on the day.
Please let us know if you are coming ASAP on carole-perry@sky.com . When you are on the list, we will send details about where/what time to meet.
If you would prefer to have a lift or are willing to car share, please also let us know – we can usually work something out!
